The most common complaint I hear, particularly from
lower and middle level managers and supervisors,
is the amount of time they spend in meetings. When asked what the biggest time
waster they have is,
meetings is often at the top of the list. Meetings are essential to managing an
organization – so the
answer is not to eliminate meetings.
